PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
We want the booking process for your Morocco tour to be clear from the beginning. This policy explains how deposits, remaining payments, booking changes, cancellations, and refunds are handled when you book with Tours of Morocco.
Because many parts of a private Morocco tour are reserved specifically for you, including hotels, riads, desert camps, transportation, guides, and activities, some payments may become non-refundable once those services have been confirmed.
Please read the information below before confirming your tour. If you have any questions about the payment or cancellation terms for your specific booking, contact us before making your deposit.
A deposit is required to confirm your Morocco tour and secure the services included in your itinerary. The exact deposit amount will be provided with your tour proposal before you make any payment.
The deposit amount may vary depending on your itinerary, travel dates, number of travelers, accommodation category, and services that need to be reserved in advance. We will always tell you the exact amount before you confirm your booking.
Once we receive your deposit, we begin confirming the accommodations, transportation, guides, desert camps, activities, and other services included in your itinerary. Your booking is considered confirmed once the main arrangements have been secured.
After receiving your deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation showing your tour details, deposit received, remaining balance, and any important payment information.
Some hotels, riads, desert camps, activities, and other third-party services may require non-refundable advance payments. If this applies to your booking, we will explain it to you before your deposit is made.
After your deposit has been received and your tour is confirmed, the remaining balance must be paid according to the payment details provided in your booking confirmation.
Your booking confirmation will clearly show the total tour price, the deposit already received, and the remaining amount that still needs to be paid.
The deadline for paying the remaining balance will be provided with your booking details. Payment timing may vary depending on your itinerary and the services reserved for your tour.
We will provide you with the available payment method and instructions before the payment is due. Please use the booking reference or traveler name provided so we can correctly identify your payment.
Any bank, card, transfer, or payment-processing fees charged by a third-party payment provider are the responsibility of the traveler unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
If you need to cancel your Morocco tour, please contact us as soon as possible. The amount that can be refunded depends on how close the cancellation is to your travel date and on any services that have already been reserved or paid for.
Cancellation Notice
Cancellation Terms
More than 30 days before departure
Any refundable amount will be calculated after deducting non-refundable reservations, supplier charges, and any services already paid for on your behalf.
15–30 days before departure
A partial refund may be possible depending on the accommodations, transportation, activities, and other services already confirmed and paid.
Less than 15 days before departure
Refunds may be limited because many services will already have been confirmed and paid for close to the travel date.
No-show or cancellation after the tour begins
Payments are non-refundable for unused services if you do not arrive, leave the tour early, or choose not to use services already reserved for you.
We understand that travel plans can change. If you need to adjust your Morocco tour after booking, contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to help.
If you need to move your tour to different dates, contact us as soon as possible. Date changes are subject to availability and may result in price differences for accommodation, transportation, activities, or other services.
You may request changes to your route, destinations, accommodation, activities, or other parts of your itinerary. We will check availability and let you know if the changes affect the tour price.
If you request changes after your tour has started, we will do our best to arrange them where possible. Additional costs may apply, and unused services already reserved may not be refundable.
Any booking change is subject to availability and the conditions of hotels, desert camps, guides, activity providers, and other suppliers. We will always explain any additional cost before confirming a requested change.
In rare situations, we may need to change part of your itinerary or cancel a service due to circumstances outside our control. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and work to provide the best available alternative.
Small changes may sometimes be necessary because of hotel availability, road conditions, weather, local events, or supplier changes. We will always try to provide a similar or better alternative whenever possible.
If an important part of your tour needs to be changed before departure, we will explain the new arrangement and any effect it may have on your itinerary or price.
If we are unable to operate your tour or a major service and no suitable alternative can be arranged, we will explain the available options, which may include rescheduling, an alternative service, or a refund for the affected service.
Tours of Morocco cannot be responsible for changes caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, public emergencies, or other force majeure events. We will always do our best to assist and arrange suitable alternatives.
Some services included in your Morocco tour may require advance payment and may become non-refundable once they are confirmed. This depends on the cancellation conditions of the hotel, activity provider, transport company, or other supplier involved.
Some accommodations require full or partial advance payment, especially during high season, holidays, or for special room categories. Once confirmed, these amounts may not be refundable.
Hot-air balloon flights, private activities, quad or buggy experiences, special dinners, guided experiences, and other prepaid activities may have their own cancellation conditions.
Private vehicles, airport transfers, special transportation, guides, and other services reserved specifically for your group may become partially or fully non-refundable once confirmed.
Any service booked through an external supplier is also subject to that supplier’s cancellation and refund conditions.
If your itinerary includes a service that requires a significant non-refundable payment in advance, we will inform you before your booking is confirmed whenever possible.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your Morocco tour. Travel insurance can help protect you against unexpected situations that may affect your trip.
Choose a policy that may cover eligible costs if you need to cancel, postpone, or interrupt your trip because of an unexpected covered event.
Your insurance should include appropriate medical and emergency assistance coverage for the activities and destinations included in your Morocco itinerary.
Consider coverage for delayed, lost, stolen, or damaged luggage and personal belongings while traveling.
If you plan to take part in activities such as camel trekking, quad biking, hiking, or hot-air ballooning, make sure your insurance policy provides suitable coverage for those activities.
Tours of Morocco does not provide travel insurance. Travelers are responsible for choosing suitable coverage and checking the terms, exclusions, and limits of their insurance policy before traveling.
