Day 1: Marrakech, Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, Ourazazate, Skoura Oasis and Dades Canyon
After breakfast at 9:00, we embark on our journey southward, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizin Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, we’ll make stops to explore the impressive Kasbahs of Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. You’ll have some free time to wander through the labyrinthine streets of Ait Ben Haddou and ascend to its summit for panoramic views of the valley below. Continuing our route, we’ll pass through the Valley of the Roses, renowned for its rose cultivation and the diverse beauty products derived from it, before settling in for the night amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Dades Gorges. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful night’s sleep in Dades.
Day 2: Dades Cayon, Toudgha Gorge, Erfoud and Merzouga
After breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley at 9 a.m., we’ll embark on a scenic journey along the famous Road of 1000 Kasbahs, passing through vibrant Berber villages. Our next destination is Tineghir, where you can explore its picturesque palm grove and historic Jewish quarter. From there, we’ll proceed to the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges (Todgha), where you’ll have free time to trek along the towering canyon walls, a popular spot for rock climbers. Continuing our adventure, we’ll make our way to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert, with a lunch stop in Erfoud along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll prepare for a camel ride into the heart of the desert, culminating in a breathtaking sunset experience atop the dunes. Afterward, we’ll head to our luxury camp, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by Berber folklore around a campfire. Spend the night in the comfort of our Luxury Camp, surrounded by the tranquility of the desert.
Day 3: Merzouga, Erfoud, Midalt, Azrou, Ifrane and Fez
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Erfoud, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the intricate process of crafting locally found fossils into exquisite furniture and artifacts. Continuing our journey, we’ll head north towards Er Rachidia, passing through the scenic Ziz Valley renowned for its vast palm tree groves. As we traverse the Tizi-n-Talghoumt pass, you’ll be treated to breathtaking mountain views. Lunch will be served in Midelt, fondly known as “the apple capital”. Following lunch, we’ll embark on a picturesque drive lined with lush green oaks and cedar trees, making a stop in Azrou to hand-feed the friendly monkeys. Our route then takes us to Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco”, before arriving in Fes by late afternoon. You’ll spend the night in a Hotel or Riad nestled within the historic Medina.
Day 4: Fez (Sightseeing Guided Tour) and Chefchaouen
Today, you’ll enjoy a half-day guided tour with a local expert to explore the vibrant medina and famous Souks of Fez. Navigate the narrow cobbled streets adorned with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets. Discover the city’s most magnificent palaces and monuments, including a visit to the tannery and ceramics cooperative to witness traditional Moroccan crafts in action. In the afternoon, after concluding your guided tour, we’ll set off towards Chefchaouen, nestled amidst the Rif Mountains. Renowned for its picturesque blue-washed buildings, this charming mountain village offers a unique blend of Moroccan and Andalusian influences. Spend the night in a lovely Riad with panoramic views, allowing you to soak in the serene ambiance and natural beauty. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the enchanting blue medina at your leisure.
Day 5: Chefchaouen, Tetouan & Tangier
After indulging in a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Chefchaouen, our journey continues towards Tangier. Along the way, we’ll make a stop in Tetouan, nestled amidst the Rif mountains. Known as “the white dove,” Tetouan showcases its identity with a prominent sculpture resembling a white dove at the city entrance. Its inhabitants, the “Amazigh” Berbers, add to the city’s rich cultural tapestry. Continuing our drive, we’ll arrive in Tangier, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, creating a captivating blend of cold, vigorous waters and warm, tranquil currents. If time permits, we’ll visit a scenic viewpoint in Tangier offering breathtaking vistas, including views of Spain on clear days. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation in Tangier to unwind and enjoy the rest of your day.
Day 6: Tangier, Asilah, Rabat & Casablanca
After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel in Tangier, our journey takes us to Asilah, a charming coastal village in northern Morocco known for its picturesque walls adorned with artwork by international artists. We’ll then proceed to Rabat, the Moroccan capital, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore its beauty. Highlights of the visit include the Hassan Tower, an unfinished mosque commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur in 1195, intended to be the largest minaret in the world. We’ll also visit the Kasbah Chellah, a historic medina in Rabat. Continuing our journey, we’ll head to Casablanca, where you’ll experience the captivating blend of modernity and tradition. Highlights of Casablanca include visits to the Central Market, the Habous District, and the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city at your leisure before spending the night at a hotel in Casablanca.
Day 7: Casablanca City Tour & Airport Drop Off
Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Casablanca at your own pace. Take in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city before embarking on a guided sightseeing tour. Discover the highlights of Casablanca, including iconic landmarks and cultural attractions. After the tour, we’ll transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
